The Vivafarm mission
As a result of persistent and successful breeding work, continuous technological development and the constant expansion of knowledge, the efficiency of animal product production improves year by year. In addition to the increasingly intensive production, the legal system that serves sustainable agriculture, decreasing environmental burden and thus better health and quality of life for the present and future generations, encourages continuous development in animal feed.
Agrofeed Ltd. as a successful premix and feed manufacturer is determined, forward-looking and conscious in this development work. Any feeding idea - which includes more sustainable feeding concepts, new-minded feed additives, methods - ultimately shows its true efficiency in front of the animals, in practice. The main "laboratory assistant" is always the livestock, the pig or the broiler.
Goals
Our company established its own pig test farm in 2013 for these goals, which was expanded with a modern poultry test farm in 2024. The main criterion in the design of the barns in both units is to create technological elements, airspace and group formations that model the practice of the region's commodity-producing farms well. We considered it important that we easily obtain data during the tests, and that these provide statistically interpretable correlations.
Results
The results will thus be easily interpretable and well communicable to our partners. We share with our partners those feeding solutions that have been proven to improve performance and economic efficiency during pig and poultry tests. Our colleagues, experts provide assistance in on-site adaptation. We hope that we can continue to contribute to your success.
